The entire human population of Veldime turned into demons when Zenon, a mighty demon overlord, lay off his vengeful curse fifteen years ago. The only human being unaffected is Adell, a young demon hunter who values justice and bravery. Adell’s mother has spent the last fifteen years trying to find a way to summon Overlord Zenon out of his hiding and have Adell defeat him. Still, she failed and mistakenly summoned Rozalin, Zenon’s daughter. However, contrary to what one might expect from the daughter of an overlord who she claims has defeated more than 1000 other overlords and is dubbed the “God of All Overlords,” Rozalin is a spoiled lady who is too used to luxury and does not even know how to fight. She also criticizes Adell and thinks he is a fool to believe that, since he is the only human being in Veldime who has not turned into a demon, he must have a way to defeat Zenon, his mighty adversary. However, much to Rozalin’s demise, the contract placed on her when Adell’s mother accidentally summoned her makes her bound to Adell.
Assume the role of Adell, a young demon hunter, and embark on a journey along with Rozalin, an overlord’s spoiled daughter, to Zenon’s palace. Create and develop your own units as you see fit with unique features such as new unit types made available through developing one or more types of characters. Reincarnate them to have them go back to level 1 while about some of their skills and create the ultimate rookies! Disgaea 2 – Cursed Memories provides exciting gameplay both in and outside battles with the many gimmicks it provides through features such as the Dark Assembly.
